Official Rules

1. STUDENT ELIGIBILITY: The 2Futuro Scholarship Sweepstakes promotion ("Promotion") is open to all postsecondary students, including graduate students, who within 30 days of notification of winning can demonstrate proof of enrollment at an Eligible School. An Eligible School is a college or university, vocational school, trade school, professional school, or any other educational institution deemed acceptable by Sponsors. Void where prohibited by law. The Promotion is governed by United States law, and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Employees of Sallie Mae, Inc. and United Student Aid Funds, Inc. ("Sponsors"), their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies and members of the immediate family or household of each are not eligible.
   
   PARENT ELIGIBILITY: If any one of your children will be a student at an Eligible School within the next 30 days and if you provide verifiable proof of enrollment for that student, we'll forward the scholarship to the school as payment toward that student's tuition and fees. An Eligible School is a college or university, vocational school, trade school, professional school, or any other educational institution deemed acceptable by Sponsors. Void where prohibited by law. The Promotion is governed by United States law, and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Employees of Sallie Mae, Inc. and United Student Aid Funds, Inc. 2. PRIZES/ODDS: One (1), $1,000 Scholarship will be awarded to the Winner upon verification of enrollment at an Eligible School. The scholarship will be issued in check form and made co-payable to the Winner and postsecondary institution in which the Winner is enrolled. Approximate total retail value of all prizes: $1,000.00. ALL EXPENSES, TAXES AND COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ACCEPTANCE AND USE OF ANY PRIZE NOT SET FORTH IN THESE RULES ARE THE OBLIGATION OF THE WINNER. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. No assignment, transfer or substitution of prize is permitted.
   
   
3. HOW TO ENTER: You will automatically be entered in the 2Futuro Scholarship Sweepstakes by applying for a 2Futuro loan. However, obtaining a loan through 2Futuro will not increase your chance of winning the scholarship.
   
   You may also enter the Sweepstakes by (1) successfully completing an online registration form at www.2Futuro.com or (2) mailing in your complete name, address, e-mail, and phone number on a 3" x 5" piece of paper. Mail your entry in a hand-addressed, postage-paid envelope to: Sallie Mae "2Futuro Scholarship Sweepstakes", Mail Code M482, 11100 USA Parkway, Fishers, IN 46037. Entries must be received by the deadline listed on the 2Futuro Sweepstakes Web page to qualify.
   
   All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned.
   
   
4. ENTRY/DRAWING: This Promotion begins on June 16, 2008 and ends on July 15, 2008 ("Promotion Period"). Limit one entry per person. One random drawing will take place on July 19, 2008 ("Drawing Date"), or as soon as is commercially reasonable. Winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received. Winner will not be eligible to win any other 2Futuro Scholarships.
   
   
5. NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: The 2Futuro Scholarship winner will be notified by e-mail, followed by regular mail if necessary. Should the e-mail be returned to Sponsor as invalid, two more attempts will be made via e-mail and one by regular mail. To claim the 2Futuro Scholarship, Winner must contact Sponsor within 30 calendar days from the date of the notification sent by Sponsor. Failure to contact Sponsor within that 30 day period will result in immediate disqualification of the selected entrant and a new winner will be selected. No exceptions will be made to this rule. Sponsor may be reached by e-mail (2FuturoApp@salliemae.com) or by phone (1-888-2FUTURO). Sponsors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify winner. By accepting the 2Futuro Scholarship, the winner agrees to the use of his or her name, voice, and/or likeness for the purpose of advertising, trade or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account.
   
   
6. GENERAL: By entering, you agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsors regarding all aspects of this Promotion which are final and binding. Sponsors, their parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, trustees, directors, officers, employees and agents are not responsible for and shall not be liable for 1) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, unintelligible, or postage due entries; 2) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; 3) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions; 4) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Sponsors that may cause the 2Futuro Scholarship to be disrupted or corrupted; or 5) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the 2Futuro Scholarship. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsors to use winner’s name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. By entering, you release and hold harmless Sponsors, their parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, trustees, directors, officers and employees and agents from all liability or any injuries of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in this Promotion or acceptance or use of any prize. Sponsors reserve the right to suspend, cancel or modify this Promotion if fraud or any other causes beyond their control affects the integrity or fairness of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsors.
   
   
7. WINNERS LIST: For the name, city and state of residence of the winner send a self-addressed stamped envelope by July 15, 2008, to 2Futuro Scholarship Sweepstakes, Mail Code M482, 11100 USA Parkway, Fishers, IN 46037.
